This velodyne is not cheap but delivers the very low bass that adds significant realism to a movie. You won’t find that annoying booming bass that the cheap subwoofers deliver. Here, the bass is solid, low and will definitely rumble the family room….. detail |

This sub is fantastic for the price. It installs easy and works flawlessly. The sound is warm and accurate, not “boomy” like my old KLH 250watt 12inch sub. I was weary of not having an On/Off switch. The auto on works even at low volumes and it stays on consistently, not switching on and off as my old junk did. Don’t let the only 100watt rating fool you, it puts out 100… detail |

This is a good sub. The big problem with this sub is that it doesn’t dig very low. If it were flat to 20 Hz I’d give it 5 stars. Although, for the price, thats probably not gonna happen. The sub has relatively tight bass and a decent amount of output. I have a 20′ x 13′ x 9′ room opening into the kitchen and hallway and it still produces a decent amount of bang. My room really could use two or 3 subs though… detail |
